Example of Duties:
The main focus of this role is teaching and training student athletes according to the sport they are
participating in. This position involves regular verbal, written, and/or email correspondence with the ACHA
Men’s Ice Hockey coaching staff. The successful candidate will:
● Assist the coaching staff with aspects of coaching, program and team management, and the planning
and execution of practices, with an emphasis on teaching and training student-athletes.
● Adhere to and ensure compliance with all NCAA rules and regulations.
● Perform other duties as requested by the Athletic Director.

participating in. This position involves regular verbal, written, and/or email correspondence with the ACHA
Men’s Ice Hockey coaching staff. The successful candidate will:
● Assist the coaching staff with aspects of coaching, program and team management, and the planning
and execution of practices, with an emphasis on teaching and training student-athletes.
● Adhere to and ensure compliance with all NCAA rules and regulations.
● Perform other duties as requested by the Athletic Director.
● The hands-on nature of the equipment/materials/tasks/instruction/student needs, etc., necessitates
in-person presence as an essential function of this role.
Minimum requirements:
● 1-3 years past coaching experience
● Previous relevant playing experience
● Proficiency in basic computer skills
● Must be able to perform duties within the normal bounds of an office environment as well as stand
for long periods of time. Must also be able to jump, bend, squat, and demonstrate a variety of
techniques to student athletes.
