The Administrative Assistant provides support to the Department of Athletics, Fitness and Recreation by serving at the Information/Welcome Desk and assisting in the operational and administrative needs of the department. This position helps to manage department calendars, team rosters, game contracts, and hiring processes and coordinates many of the department’s large events. Providing assistance to department personnel, this position maintains the internal operational policies and procedures and assists the Compliance Coordinator with NCAA and NCAC compliance needs.
It is also expected that the Administrative Assistant will embrace the department mission of fostering learning and developing community with a focus on the values of citizenship, competition, resiliency, sportsmanship and teamwork within Kenyon’s unique campus culture. The position is 35 hours per week (7 hours per day) for 11 months. The typical work day is 8 am - 4 pm. Some evening and weekend hours might be requested. Light lifting is expected.
