POSITION SUMMARY:
Reporting to the Associate Athletic Director for Development, the Assistant Athletic Director for Development is responsible for increasing revenue for Athletics in addition to managing a major giving portfolio. The key focus of this role will be in two areas. 1.) Expanding the Annual Giving pipeline to increase both the quantity of donors and total sum of giving to Athletics.. 2.) The position will manage relationships with major gift prospects and donors, with responsibility for securing five- and six-figure commitments.
The overall goal for this position is to build and cultivate relationships with donors to support the University of San Francisco in its most ambitious fundraising campaign. The USF Campaign has a $500M goal that will vastly enhance the University’s presence and scholarship in the arts, athletics, health and life sciences, entrepreneurism and beyond.The Assistant Athletic Director will collaborate with the Associate Athletic Director, Alumni Engagement office, athletics coaching staff, and Special Events teams to share and execute the vision for Athletics with alumni and USF community.
