Rider University, an NCAA Division I institution and member of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) invites applications for an Assistant Athletic Director for Marketing & Fan Engagement. Reporting to the Senior Associate Director of External Operations, this individual will be responsible for implementing comprehensive marketing plans, developing social media content creation calendars and promoting the Rider Athletics brand in an effort to increase attendance, create a positive and exciting game-day atmosphere to maximize the fan experience and further the Rider University Athletics brand.
Specifically, the individual will be responsible for:
Developing and creating all graphic design elements (i.e. schedule posters, in-venue video board and LED scorer’s tables graphics, on-campus TVs and videoboards, social media graphics, digital media ad campaigns, various facility enhancement projects, event and season ticket brochures, website etc.);
Scheduling and coordinating youth group contacts and attendance at events for all sports;
Overseeing community relations opportunities for athletic teams;
Coordinating the athletics department marketing and social media intern program;
Assisting with planning and executing the marketing of special events for athletics (MAACness, Kids Day Out, National Girls and Women in Sports Day, postseason tournaments, game day tailgates); and
Serving as the advisor to the Rider Pep Band that participates in home athletic events and at the postseason conference basketball tournament.
