Intercollegiate Athletic Administration or Coaching experience preferred

Ability to administer NCAA Division III program components, including bylaws and regulations set forth within the NCAA Division III Manual;

Ability to be a supportive team player within the Athletics & Recreation Department at St. Joseph’s University, New York - Brooklyn;
Demonstrated commitment to continued learning/professional development;
A working knowledge of computer programs and systems.
Primary Duties
Educate Student-Athletes, Coaches, Athletic Department Staff and Campus constituent groups on NCAA, Skyline Conference and St. Joseph’s University, New York-Brooklyn compliance rules and regulations;
Monitor countable athletically related activities (CARA);
Monitor athletics recruiting activities;
Know and stay abreast of all NCAA and Skyline Conference rules as they pertain to Division III and St. Joseph’s University, New York -Brooklyn Athletics;
Administer required NCAA paperwork for student-athlete eligibility, drug testing, and participation;
Prepare and monitor initial and continuing eligibility reports;
Prepare and submit NCAA waivers and requests;
Send and receive Transfer Release forms;
Compose Athletic Department Compliance Manual;
Compose Student-Athlete Handbook;
Collaborate with Registrar and Academic Advising to formulate student-athlete class schedules;
Manage and distribute missed class forms for student-athletes;
Perform classroom and grade checks;
Compose and submit NCAA, Skyline Conference, and Institutional compliance reports;
Coordinate with the Manager of Athletic Communications to nominate student-athletes for awards;
Review and Approve Camp, Clinic, and Fundraiser Requests submitted by coaches;
Serve as the advisor to the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee;
Serve as an event management supervisor for select home contests.
Secondary Duties
Attend and participate in conference and NCAA meetings, when applicable;
Serve on appropriate Departmental and campus-wide committees;
Other duties as assigned by the Director of Athletics and Recreation;
If applicable, the Assistant Athletic Director for NCAA Compliance and Student-Athlete Services may also be designated as the Senior Woman Administrator (SWA).

Salary Range: $65,000.00-$70,000.00
Hours: Regular evening and weekend hours are required.
