ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

This position reports to Senior Associate Athletic Director for Resources Enhancement. Lead athletic ticket operations and provides ticketing services to those sponsoring and attending athletic contests. Will develop new strategies to grow attendance in ticketed sports ¿ including corporate group sales, season ticket strategies, and students. Assist with strategic marketing efforts of the department for all athletic ticketed events.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

This position includes the following responsibilities:

Leads all ticket operations for department including management of software and lead for all customer communication.
Confers with individual ticket account holders and event sponsors concerning ticket needs, prepares and supervises all ticket operations - solves problems, maintains control of money and tickets, prepares audit statements, hires event employees to help run box office operations.
Create and implement marketing campaigns for ticket sales, and increasing event attendance. Special focus on season ticket holders and group corporate ticket nights.
Develop initiatives to increase engagement with various campus units and student body for attendance. Develop and implement game promotional schedules and steward donors.
Digital/static graphic design - Develop promotional graphic, posters, social media, billboards to help promote UW-Green Bay athletics and Develop graphics to assist with all athletics game marketing and promotions.
Fundraising, Development, and Special Events - Coordinate with Development team/ Phoenix Fund and assist with athletics special events.

QUALIFICATIONS:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's Degree at time of application
2+ years experience working in intercollegiate athletics or similar industry in marketing, communications, sales or development.
Valid Driver's license upon employment
Experience with Adobe InDesign Suite and Photoshop

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience in solicitation and relationship building
Experience working with ticketing software

SPECIAL NOTES:

This position may be required to work nights, and weekends as needed.

The home campus of this position is Green Bay and the successful candidate may occasionally be required to travel to or work at the Marinette, Sheboygan or Manitowoc Campus, based on operational needs.

Position is a full-time Academic Staff appointment. Official transcripts of the highest degree achieved will be required of finalist(s). A criminal conviction investigation will be conducted on the finalist(s) and if there is prior work history within the last 7 years with Universities of Wisconsin, a personnel file review check for employee misconduct. SALARY INFORMATION

Minimum salary of $50,000.

This position is exempt from the overtime provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).

We participate in the Wisconsin Retirement System (WRS), where employer contributions begin immediately and employees are fully vested after 5 years of service. The UW System also provides supplemental retirement savings programs including a 403(b) and Deferred Compensation.

In addition, employees receive several types of paid leave benefits, which are prorated for employees working less than 100%. This includes 9 legal holidays, 36 hours of personal holiday and between 96-130 hours of sick leave annually. Employees earn 13-27 days of vacation each year, depending on years of service and employment type.
