Saint Joseph's College of Maine seeks an individual for the position of Assistant Athletic Trainer. This person will support the College by assisting the Head Athletic Trainer in all phases of the sports medicine program and maintain accurate records of injuries.

Primary Duties will include:

• Preparing practice and game coverage
• Managing training room supervision
• Traveling with teams for away games
• Supervising student employees
• Evaluating and rehabilitating student athletes

Education, Experience, Skills and Abilities:

• Bachelor’s degree is required with NATA Certification and a Maine License.
• Experience and knowledge in college or high school athletic training is preferred
• Computer competence in word processing, database management and electronic mail.

Supervision and Scheduling Demands:

This is a full-time 10-month position, August – June , that meets on a regular basis with the Head Athletic Trainer. Evening, nighttime, and weekend hours are expected.
