Position Summary

The Athletics Department at the College of Saint Benedict invites applicants for the part-time (.30 FTE) position of Assistant Athletic Trainer. 

Under the direction of the head athletic trainer, the Assistant Athletic Trainer's primary responsibility is the healthcare of the student-athletes at the College of Saint Benedict. This position will provide coverage to sports and athletic events as assigned. This position will evaluate, manage and treat athletic injuries as well as focusing on injury prevention and rehabilitation of athletic injuries. They will assist the Head Athletic Trainer in coordinating the overall sports medicine program, including the supervision of Student Sports Medicine Assistants. The position is required to abide by the rules and regulations established by the College of Saint Benedict, the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC), and NCAA.

  1. Provide athletic training services as directed by Head Athletic Trainer and Team Physician(s) per Board of Medical Practice protocols including medical prevention, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation of student-athletes.
