Position Description
Valley City State University is searching for an Assistant Baseball Coach. This position will assist the head coach with the following duties: planning game strategies an scouting reports; planning positional and team practices; implementing strength and conditioning programs; recruiting; coaching, mentoring, and retaining student athletes; monitoring annual budgets; arranging team and recruiting travel; fundraising and other departmental duties; helping to foster strong alumni relations and meeting all institutional, and NAIA rules and regulations.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and 2 years of experience coaching baseball.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree accomplished coaching background, excellent communication skills; strong organizational and leadership skills; a demonstrated ability to recruit, train, and retain academically and athletically successful student-athletes; a commitment and history of integrating the student athlete into the campus community of a small college.

Compensation
$32,000-$35,000 annually depending on experience and qualifications.
