| Key Responsibilities |
Juniata College, an NCAA Division III Institution, invites applications for a 12-month, intern level, Assistant Baseball Coach. Juniata is a co-educational, liberal arts college and highly regarded for its academic excellence. This position includes a monthly stipend, room, board and full benefits.

Primary Role:
Assist the Head Baseball Coach with all facets of the Men’s Baseball program including, but not limited to, recruiting, scouting, player and team development, team travel, fundraising, camps and clinics.

Typical Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to; on field coaching and instruction, the
recruitment of qualified student-athletes, scouting and game preparation, academic monitoring,
and the administration and organization of camps and clinics. Collateral responsibilities in
support of the Athletic Department will be assigned and are an essential function of the
position.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree, a valid driver’s license (clear of major violations), and playing experience/coaching experience at the collegiate level. Strong communication skills and the
ability to successfully recruit high quality student-athletes in a rigorous academic environment is
a must. Knowledge of and adherence to Juniata College, NCAA Division III, and Landmark
Conference rules and regulations are required. | | Supervision Required/Given |
Receive direct supervision from the Head Baseball Coach. Works collaboratively with other individuals and groups across campus and within the Athletic Department. | | Preferred Qualifications | | | Physical Demands |
• Ability to demonstrate, assist with, conduct sport specific drills and fundamentals.
