| Job Summary/Basic Function: |
The Assistant Women’s Ice Hockey Coach is responsible for supporting the Head Coach in all aspects of running a NCAA Division III women’s ice hockey program. This includes coaching, student-athlete development, recruiting, academic monitoring, practice and game preparation, compliance with NCAA, conference, and institutional rules, and fostering a positive team culture.

| Job Requirements & Essential Functions of the Job: |
Assist with the planning, organization, and execution of all practices and games.
Monitor student-athlete academic performance.
Assist with scouting, video breakdown, and game strategy development.
Promote a culture of integrity, inclusivity, sportsmanship, and respect within the program.
Ensure compliance with NCAA, conference, and institutional policies and procedures.
Support team travel arrangements and game-day operations.
Participate in fundraising, alumni engagement, and community service initiatives.
Contribute to the overall success of the athletics department by serving on committees or assisting with departmental events.

| Required Qualifications: |
- Bachelor’s degree
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to work nights and weekends

- Previous collegiate playing or coaching experience.
