Assistant Coach
This position involves a dual role within the Division of Student Affairs and Athletics. The assistant coach responsibilities range from the planning, recruiting, coaching, developing, implementing, communication and administering of the sport program to achieve University and Department objectives to teaching duties within the Department of Athletics. Exhibit behavior that enhances the respect for the student-athletes, the athletics program, the University, and yourself in the conduct of your professional responsibilities. The position of assistant baseball coach reports to the head baseball coach.
Under general supervision of facilities director, oversee operation of equipment room facilities, including student athletes’ uniforms and practice gear. This position maintains proper inventory of uniforms and equipment for sports and ensures that equipment is set up and clean properly for practice and games. The incumbent directs and assigns work schedules for student employees.

Athletics
Minimum four years of baseball coaching or playing experience
Demonstrated strong commitment to athletes as students
Demonstrated experience with:
-Supporting students from diverse and multicultural backgrounds
-Personnel Administration
-Fundraising
-Community Relations
-Media Relations
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, preferred
