The primary duties of University of Washington Athletic Department coaches are to teach, instruct, educate and impart knowledge to student-athletes regarding the rules and fundamentals of their respective sport with the goal to continuously improve and achieve athletic excellence.

The primary duties of University of Washington Athletic Department coaches are to teach, instruct, educate and impart knowledge to student-athletes regarding the rules and fundamentals of their respective sport with the goal to continuously improve and achieve athletic excellence.

The Assistant Coach for Beach Volleyball will be responsible for assisting the Head Coach in the following areas.

• Assist with the planning and execution of practice.
• Lead video support at practice and competitions as well as uploading all video to Hudl. Edit and review video of practice and matches with the head coach. 
• Assist with recruiting efforts on campus and on recruiting trips.
• Assist the Director of Operations with travel arrangements and other administrative functions. 
• Assist with compliance software. Monitor Recruiting and CARA logs.
• Other duties as assigned.

Compliance with the rules and regulations of the University, the NCAA, the Conference, the State of Washington and any other governing body is of paramount importance to the University.  The overall responsibility of this position is for the successful operation of the program in full compliance with all such rules and regulations.  As a condition of employment, the Employee shall be required to participate in rules education programs offered by the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree and two years of experience coaching volleyball.  Demonstrated recruiting abilities. Strong computer and organizational skills and a passion for volleyball.

Equivalent education/experience will substitute for all minimum qualifications except where there are legal requirements such as license/certification/registration.

DESIRED REQUIREMENTS

Collegiate playing experience and collegiate coaching experience.

Compensation, Benefits and Position Details

Pay Range Minimum:

$79,824.00 annual

Pay Range Maximum:

$84,000.00 annual

Other Compensation:

• Taxable benefits include tickets to UW Intercollegiate home competitions. - Non-local candidates may be eligible for a moving allowance.
