As the assistant coach, you will help run all aspects of SCAD Savannah’s golf program. Responsibilities include recruiting prospective student-athletes, planning and executing practices, prepare teams for tournament situations, assisting the head coach with coordinating, developing, and improving player skills and team strategy, and giving pre-game, half-time, and post-game analysis for improvement. In this role you will be expected to encourage and promote excellence in academics for team members, accompany teams as a coach to all events, work cooperatively with staff and personnel at all golf facilities, and assist with tournament scheduling. This position requires a commitment toadhering to all rules and regulations of SCAD, The Sun Conference, and the NAIA.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree

• Previous collegiate coaching and recruitment experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous coaching and recruitment experience

• Budget management

Work Hours: The university work week is Sunday through Saturday. Most offices are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. To accommodate business needs, employees may be assigned to other work days and/or hours, including weekends and evenings.
