Overview

The Assistant Coach is responsible for assisting the head coach with the administration and organization of a successful athletic program that competes in the Centennial Conference at the NCAA Division III level.

Responsibilities

The candidate will be responsible for assisting the Head Track & Field Coach in the development of the hurdle events. Duties include but are not limited to:

• Planning and conducting practices for athletes competing in the hurdle events
• Evaluation and recruitment of qualified prospective student-athletes in the hurdle events
• Must have the ability to work weeknights (4:00-7:00) and weekends

Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required
• Knowledge of rules and techniques of the specific sport
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational and planning ability
• Knowledge of NCAA Division III and Centennial Conference rules and regulations
