The Assistant Coach is responsible for supporting the Head Coach in all aspects of planning, developing, and coaching the men’s ice hockey program in compliance with University of New England and NCAA Division III rules and regulations. This includes assisting with the recruitment and development of student-athletes and fostering a culture of welcoming and belonging that supports a first-rate NCAA Division III student-athlete experience.
This position plays a vital role in advancing the University of New England’s athletic programs through coaching, recruitment, and program operations. The successful candidate will help create an environment where student-athletes feel valued and supported, demonstrate creativity and initiative, and actively engage as a member of the broader university community.

Bachelor’s degree required previous collegiate coaching experience preferred or a combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills are acquired.
