This position involves frequent verbal, written, and email correspondence with current and prospective students, parents,
faculty and staff.
Assist in the planning and execution of team practices, including on-ice and off-ice training.
Work with players to improve technical skills, tactical understanding, and overall hockey performance.
Assist in game-day preparation and strategies, including video analysis and opponent scouting.
Help manage and oversee student-athletes’ academic progress.
Contribute to the recruitment of prospective student-athletes.
Provide mentorship and guidance to student-athletes, promoting their growth both on and off the ice.
Assist with administrative duties related to the hockey program, including team travel logistics, equipment

management, and budgeting.
Participate in community outreach and team-building activities to enhance the team’s overall experience.
Assist in developing team culture and ensuring a positive and disciplined environment.
Ensure compliance with Adrian College, NCHA, and NCAA Division III rules.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree required or equivalent work experience.
Proficiency in basic computer skills.
Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with the coaching staff, student-athletes, and administration.
A passion for teaching the game of hockey and fostering the development of young student-athletes.
Must be able to pass a background check, NCAA Division III Rules Test as well as adhere to NCAA and Adrian
College policies.
Must be able to perform duties within the normal bounds of an office environment as well as stand for long
periods of time and must be able to lift up to 25 pounds. Must also be able to demonstrate techniques to student
athletes.
The requirements listed above are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Desired Qualifications:
Preference will be given to those with: Master’s Degree and/or Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Management
2+ years of NCAA playing experience and/or 2+ years of professional playing experience
Prior recruiting experience, extensive knowledge of the geography of Canada, specifically Ontario, and
knowledge and understanding of InStat video breakdown and analytic systems and techniques.
