Assistant Coach, Women's Lacrosse (Part Time)

This is a part time position responsible for assisting the Head Coach in all aspects of running a successful collegiate women’s lacrosse program.

Key Responsibilities:

● Coach and develop student-athletes in skills, tactics, and game preparation.

● Assist in planning and conducting practices, workouts, and team activities.

● Support recruiting efforts: identify prospects, communicate with athletes/coaches, attend events.

● Mentor student-athletes on academics, character, and personal development.

● Help with game-day operations, scouting, film review, and team logistics.

● Ensure compliance with college, conference, and NAIA rules.

● Participate in fundraising, alumni engagement, and community outreach.

Qualifications

● Collegiate playing or coaching experience, ideally at the college or competitive club level

● Strong administrative, organizational, and communication skills, including film and data use (e.g. HUDL)

● Demonstrated ability to recruit, engage student-athletes, and support their holistic development

● Experience with budgeting, facility management, social media, and compliance preferred

● Experience at similar division level (e.g. NAIA/WHAC)

● Capacity to operate outside standard hours—including evenings, weekends, team travel

Typical Benefits & Work Conditions

● Part-time staff appointment, depending on program structure

● Some meal, travel, and event-related per diems; modest stipend

● Scheduling often requires early mornings, evenings, weekends, and travel
