ASSISTANT COACH: WOMEN'S SOCCER (PART TIME)

OVERVIEW:
DeSales University, in Center Valley, Pennsylvania, is a Catholic, private, coeducational, four-year liberal arts university. Founded by the Oblates of Saint Francis de Sales in 1964, the 550-acre suburban campus is located about 50 miles north of Philadelphia and 90 miles southwest of New York City. POSITION SUMMARY:
DeSales University is an NCAA Division III and MAC Freedom Conference member. The Assistant Women’s Soccer Coach will be responsible for assisting the Head Coach in training and matches. The Assistant Coach’s primary role will be developing and executing training plans that focus on technical, tactical, and physical aspects of goalkeeper play. The ideal candidate will have prior experience coaching goalkeepers at various levels and will be passionate about fostering player development in a supportive and challenging environment. The Assistant Coach must develop and maintain a professional working relationship not only with the coaches in the Athletic Department, but also with members of the University Admissions staff.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree required
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record required
• Previous coaching or playing experience within the goalkeeper position (College or Professional),
• Strong work ethic and organizational skills
• Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record required
• Candidate must be able to effectively communicate with diverse groups of individuals
• Sensitive to issues of ethnicity, disability and diversity
