The University of Iowa Department of Athletics seeks applications for a Assistant Director, Athletics Live Event Production. Responsibilities: The Assistant Director, Athletics Live Event Production is responsible for coordinating the BTN Student U program, as well as supporting the management of live event production, and enhancing the image of The University of Iowa Athletic Department.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in communications, graphic arts, design or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience;
One (1) year of experience and extensive knowledge and ability to manage live sports broadcasts in an intercollegiate athletics setting, including:
Excellent oral and written communication skills;
Professional experience working effectively with individuals from a variety of backgrounds and perspectives, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills and ability to build trusting relationships; including working collaboratively with other external relations staff (e.g. marketing, athletic communications, graphics) on group projects;
Ability to communicate effectively and build relationships with a wide variety of constituents, both internal and external to the university setting, e.g. central campus, media personnel, patrons and vendors;
A valid U.S. driving license and the ability to meet and maintain University of Iowa Driving Policy standards;
Ability to move and load 50 pounds.
Basic knowledge and understanding of the professionalism and intensity necessary to successfully contribute to a Division I athletics program;
Experience and working knowledge of video production utilizing professional-grade cameras and editing equipment, including a basic understanding of video routing systems and broadcast studio production;
Ability to coordinate and stream multiple live events simultaneously;
One year of supervisory experience;
