Assistant Field Hockey Coach

The Lebanon Valley College Department of Athletics seeks a full-time assistant field hockey coach. The full-time assistant field hockey coach works 10 months annually to be determined by the head coach and the sport season. The primary responsibilities of the assistant coach are to provide individual and team instruction, skill development and technique, conditioning, and game preparation for team members. The assistant coach will also assume a secondary assignment within the Athletic Department. The assistant coach is expected to demonstrate leadership, sportsmanship and conduct becoming of the coaching profession, stay abreast of any rule changes relative to their sport, and to adhere to all rules, regulations and policies of the NCAA and MAC Freedom Conference. Qualifications include a bachelor’s or advanced degree, successful background in coaching (preferable at the collegiate level) and collegiate playing experience.
