Offensive Strategy & Coaching | 70%

Recruiting & Student-Athlete Development | 20% - Identify, recruit, and retain high-caliber student-athletes who align with Whitworth’s academic and athletic values.
Develop strong relationships with prospective student-athletes, their families, and high school coaches.
Support the holistic development of student-athletes, emphasizing character, leadership, and academic success.
Program & University Engagement | 10% - Assist in planning and conducting practices, training sessions, and off-season programs.
Collaborate with the Director of Strength & Conditioning to enhance player development.
Engage with faculty, staff, students, and alumni to strengthen the university’s athletic community.
Represent the football program and Whitworth University positively in public relations and fundraising efforts.
Other duties as assigned.
Core Competencies - Proven ability to develop and implement innovative offensive strategies to maximize team success. - Expertise in coaching and mentoring quarterbacks to enhance performance, leadership, and decision-making skills. - Demonstrated success in recruiting and retaining quality student-athletes who align with the university’s mission and competitive goals.
Ability to make real-time adjustments during games to improve offensive execution and overall team performance.
Strong ability to work collaboratively with coaching staff, administration, and student-athletes to create a cohesive and effective program.
Dedication to student-athlete development, ensuring success in both academic and athletic pursuits.
Comprehensive knowledge of NCAA Division III rules and regulations to maintain program integrity.

.92 FTE | 11-months | 40 hours per week
