Lycoming College is hiring an Offensive Coordinator, Assistant Football Coach! This position is part of the full-time Assistant Football Coaching staff that specializes specifically as an Offensive Coordinator.  The position is also responsible for participation in the recruitment of student athletes.

What will I do in this role?

  • The Offensive Coordinator is responsible for all aspects of the offensive side of the ball for the football program.  This includes all run / pass and protection schemes included in the offensive playbook, practice and game planning.  This also includes opponent film breakdown and scouting reports.
  • Coaches specifically the quarterbacks and offensive linemen.  Instruction of student-athletes with sound principles and expert skills related to football. Preparing individual athletes and team for games, setting season goals and motivating students using techniques that meet the needs of the students and that are consistent with Lycoming College’s athletic program philosophy.
  • Assisting in the design and implementation of special teams schemes to prepare the team to be successful.
  • Know and abide by NCAA Division III regulations and Landmark Conference rules. Successfully completing the annual NCAA “open book” rules test.
  • Recruiting student-athletes who meet the College’s admission requirements, who possess the potential to contribute to the team and will add positively to the student body.
  • Help to monitor the academic success of student-athletes and collaborate with faculty, the Assistant Deans and other key personnel to promote academic success.
