Position Overview:

Southwestern University has an immediate opening for a Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach. Reporting to the Head Men’s Basketball Coach. This position will serve as the Assistant Coach of the men’s basketball program, providing outstanding leadership in support of our students. This is a full-time exempt position eligible for our comprehensive benefits program.

Essential Duties:

  • Provide skill instruction and conditioning work consistent with a high-performing NCAA Division III varsity athletic program.
  • Recruit and retain highly talented athletes who also have the academic acumen to thrive at SU.
  • Participation in fund raising activities to support program objectives.
  • Compliance with all university, conference, and NCAA policies, procedures, and bylaws.
  • Be an outstanding mentor to our students by modeling professionalism and high moral standards.
