Rivier University, an NCAA Division III institution located in Nashua, New Hampshire, is seeking a hard-working, motivated, and driven individual for its part-time assistant men’s ice hockey coach position.

The assistant men’s hockey coach has the responsibility for assisting in the overall operation of the men’s hockey program in accordance with Rivier University and National Collegiate Athletics Association (NCAA) regulations. The successful candidate should have a proven ability to recruit and develop student-athletes and have a strong commitment to the Division III philosophy and the Rivier mission.

Duties and Responsibilities

Coaching responsibilities will be assigned by the head coach and will include but are not limited to:

• Assisting with essential daily tasks that are key to running a successful NCAA Division III Men’s Ice Hockey program.
• Assist with practice planning and implementation.
• Game day responsibilities.
• Administrative responsibilities related to scheduling, organizing, and general office work.
• On and off-campus recruiting of prospective student-athletes.
• Marketing, film exchange, and academic monitoring.
• Community involvement and fundraising activities.

Typical Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Collegiate playing/coaching experience preferred.
• Candidate must hold a valid driver’s license.
