Assistant Men’s Soccer Coach

Assist Head Coach with coaching duties and the overall operation of the Men’s Soccer program.

Responsibilities:

•  Serves as a representative of the University, displaying courtesy, tact, consideration, and discretion in all interactions with other members of the QU community and with the public.
•  Assist the Head Coach with the training and coaching of assigned student-athletes.
•  Assist with the scouting and recruitment of qualified student-athletes.
•  Assist with the promotion of the men’s soccer program
•  Coordinate and monitor academic retention program for men’s soccer
•  Assist with the scheduling of opponents.
•  Assist with team travel for soccer
•  Abide by the policies, regulations, and rules of the NCAA, conference, and Quincy University, including the Quincy University Code of Ethics for Coaches.
•  Assist with the monitoring and enforcement of players’ conformity to the Quincy University Code of Ethics for Student-Athletes.
•  Organize activities of QU Soccer Camps/Clinics
•  Manage strength and conditioning program for student-athletes.

Qualifications:
Education and/or Experience Required at Entry: Bachelor’s degree preferred
Skills, Abilities, Special Licenses or Certificate: Valid Driver’s License & CPR Certification

Working Conditions and Environment/Physical Demands: Necessary travel and unusual work hours
