Gardner Webb University Men’s Soccer seeks an Assistant Men's Soccer Coach to provide development, leadership, and supervision of a comprehensive and competitive varsity and Junior Varsity men's soccer program.

Responsibilities Include:

· Work with the Head Men's Soccer Coach to coordinate the implementation of the College's men's soccer program

· Compliant with institutional, conference, and association rules and regulations

· Coordinate and recruit prospective student-athletes through personal visits, telephone conversations, and email solicitations

· Plan, develop, and run organized practice sessions

· Assist the Head Coach with the administrative and operational duties; assist with the development, planning, and administering of athletics camps to promote GWU and the athletics program

· Monitor student athletes' academic progress and implement strategies to ensure academic and athletic success.

· Ensure the academic success of men's soccer student-athletes. Student athletes' retention and graduation rates and GPA should be comparable to those of all GWU students.

· Reinforce the GWU culture by demonstrating sportsmanship, integrity, a competitive spirit, and the importance of academics. Other duties as assigned by the Head Men's Soccer Coach
