The Assistant Coach will assist the head men's soccer coach in developing and coordinating the program in a highly competitive NCAA Division III environment. Major emphasis will be on recruiting, practice planning and on field teaching.

• Recruit quality Division III student-athletes.
• Abide by NCAA and AMCC rules and regulations.
• Serve as a positive role model for all student-athletes.
• Develop and maintain good communication with team members; utilize effective motivational strategies.
• Cultivate good rapport with other campus and athletic services.
• Maintain a strong working knowledge of Hilbert College diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives and practices.

• Assist with team practice and game day coaching responsibilities.
• Scout and break down video of all opponents.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements :

• Knowledge of NCAA and AMCC rules and regulations.
• Basic computer skills including word and excel.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able tow work independently as well as being able to supervise others.
• Able to life and carry heavy items (up to approximately 25 lbs.)
• Willing to work nights and weekends.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree preferred.
• Preferred playing or coaching experience at the collegiate level.
• Valid drivers license.

Compensation : $3,500.00 stipend
