Assistant Men's & Women's Water Polo Coach

Job Description:

The assistant coach is responsible for assisting the Head Men and Women’s Water Polo Coach in all aspects of the water polo program, including recruitment of qualified student-athletes, practice and game preparation, budget management, fundraising and assisting with the overall administration of a Division I water polo program in accordance with institutional, NCAA and Northeast Conference rules and regulations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for assisting in all facets of the men’s & women’s D1 varsity programs.
• Assist in evaluation & recruitment of potential student athletes
• Organizing and planning of practices, games, and travel weekends
• Ability to demonstrate exemplary interpersonal communication and organizational skills
• Monitoring academic progress of both programs
• Assist in video analytics & scouting opponents
• Planning of team travel

Job Requirements: Education, Experience and Skills:

• Collegiate playing experience
• Collegiate Coaching experience preferred
