This position is responsible for all phases of the program including organization and administration, quality student-athlete recruitment, fiscal management, viable fund raising and public relations, and other duties as assigned by the Head Men's Basketball Coach.

Salary & Benefits:

$40,000-$50,000, commensurate with experience plus comprehensive benefits package effective on date of hire.

• Assists with all phases in the operation of the men’s basketball program.

• Duties include recruiting, practice planning, coaching, game preparation, camp coordination, monitoring academic progress, assist in fundraising along with other responsibilities as assigned by the Head Coach.

• Must be able to work summers, nights and weekends.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Bachelor’s degree

• Candidate to have played at the college level.

• Successful knowledge and experience with the recruiting process.

• Thorough understanding of the NCAA rules and regulations.

• Experience in program planning and teaching.

• Candidate must have a strong commitment to the academic and athletic success of the student-athletes and NCAA compliance with the highest of ethical standards.

• Excellent communication, organizational and computer skills.

• Driving a company/university vehicle may be required. A valid drivers license is a requirement and a MVR needs to be conducted upon hire.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Master’s degree

• Candidate to have coached at the NCAA level for more than two years.
