Duties include assisting with the coaching of the College’s Head 

                                           Softball Coach

RESPONSIBILITIES IN ORDER OF IMPORTANCE TO POSITION:

Serves as an Assistant Coach and is actively involved in the instruction, development and recruitment of student-athletes. Able to assist in all aspects of practice and game day operations.  This will include some aspects of instruction, drill selection and execution, scouting and preparation for opponents, talent evaluation, maintaining statistics, care for equipment and team social media accounts. Performs other duties as assigned by head softball coach and/or athletic director to meet the needs of the department and the College.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor Degree with a Master Degree preferred.
• Successful experience with playing, coaching and recruiting at the college level.
• Ability to work frequent nights and weekends during fall and spring season.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate, write, organize, plan, and be a team player.

ADDITIONAL NOTES:

• Paid over spring season (January – April)
• Spring includes, availability for meetings week prior to preseason check-in (Early to Mid-January) through end of season (Late April).
• Fall season is 4-5 weeks (dates typically between September-November), still to be determined.
