Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Head Coach in daily operations of the softball program
• Contribute to player development through on-field instruction, drills, and conditioning
• Support practice planning and implementation
• Assist during games with strategy, player management, and in-game adjustments
• Aid in recruitment, scouting, and film breakdown
• Help coordinate team events, travel logistics, and equipment management
• Participate in fundraising, community service, and softball camps/clinics

Qualifications:

• Collegiate playing or coaching experience preferred (not required)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Knowledge of NCAA Division III rules and philosophy is a plus
• Ability to collaborate with student-athletes, coaching staff, and campus personnel
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive and positive team culture
• Must pass a background check

This is an unpaid volunteer position and is not eligible for benefits. However, the selected candidate will gain valuable experience, mentorship, and opportunities for professional development within the athletics field. Travel and team gear may be provided.
