Job Duties and Responsibilities** :**
Update and maintain content on the HilbertHawks.com, the web1.ncaa.org as well as the prestosports.com websites yearly.
Work closely with Sidearm Sports, the web content management system creator for hilberthawks.com.
Understand and utilize Statcrew software program as required by the NCAA and conferences in which Hilbert competes.
Write, edit, and track all internal and external athletic media releases and post-game recaps.
Assist with management of the social media sites for the athletic department.
Create and post current rosters, game schedules and updated season stats for each team on the Hilberthawks.com website.

Enter in-game statistics for all home events and distribute accurate files post-game.
Communicate, obtain, and share athletic information with opposing institutions.
Review and confirm accuracy of game statistics for all away contests;request appropriate changes if necessary with road SID.
Create pre-season and post-season recaps tracking rosters, schedule results, individual and team honors/awards, individual/team records set for each of the 19 teams.
Create game-day programs for all events.
Coordinate, organize and catalog all photographs and video captured each academic year - Obtain team photos and individual head shots of each athlete; in-game live-action photographs; shoot photographs at the Athletic Awards Reception at conclusion of each academic year.
Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
Knowledge of web content management systems.
Strong understanding of sport rules and NCAA statistical tracking for all team and individual sports.
Strong writing skills.
Ability to work nights and weekends.
Should have working knowledge of the NCAA manual, compliance regulations, social media etiquette.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree with preferred area of Sports Management, Physical Education, English, or Business Management.
Experience working as an athletics administrator (intercollegiate, professional, semi-professional); preferably media relations or event management at an NCAA Institution.
Compensation: $42,500.00
