Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coaches are responsible for contributing to the successful development and execution of one or more sports conditioning and training programs, as well as assisting student athletes with achieving their identified goals. Minimum Qualification:
Education: Bachelor's degree or currently enrolled as a college senior at an accredited institution.
Experience: Experience in a weight room setting.
Licensure: Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) certification from the NSCA or Strength and Conditioning Coach Certified (SCCC) certification from the CSCCa.
Preferred Qualifications
Education: Master's Degree
Experience: Experience with Men’s and Women’s Soccer highly preferred. Experience with GPS/Catapult monitoring preferred.
About the Position
Anticipated Hiring Range: $45,000 - $55,000, dependent upon qualifications and experience. The selected candidate will pass a background check. This position will not sponsor applications for immigration now or in the future. This is a full-time position with UVa benefits.

Physical Demands
Work is performed in the process of providing strength and conditioning coaching to student-athletes in a fitness facility, on sports fields, and in sports stadiums.
