Assistant Track Coach

Job Description:

The Assistant Coach reports directly to the Director of Cross Country, Track & Field and is responsible for working, as directed, towards the execution of a successful Track & Field program. The program operates within the mission, philosophy, and objectives of the Director, Athletic Department, and University.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Monitor program lifting sessions
• Assist in the training implementation of our vaulters
• Assist in meet day coaching and logistics
• Maintain practice performance logs for workouts and weightlifting
• Maintain an organized T&F Center, equipment storage facilities
• Home Competition Management
• Recruiting

• Administrative support on any program administrative tasks
• Assist in issuing and organizing Apparel, Practice, and Competition Equipment

Job Requirements: Education, Experience and Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree required
• Successful coaching experience required

Salary/Hours/Benefits

• $7,000 Salary, 12-month contract

• Part Time
