Assists the Head Cross Country & Track and Field Coach in managing all aspects of the intercollegiate, varsity track & field and cross country programs with a primary focus on recruiting student-athletes for both men's and women's programs.
Develops and executes recruiting strategies to meet the program goal of enrolling 10 new student-athletes per year.
Trains and conditions student-athletes in designated event areas; plans and executes practice sessions under the guidance of the Head Coach.
Attends competitions and evaluates prospective student-athletes during high school meets and showcases.
Coordinates campus visits, organizes recruitment travel, and communicates regularly with prospective students and their families.
Works closely with the Admissions Office to ensure smooth communication and alignment with university recruitment processes.
Assists in administrative tasks related to program operations, including managing work-study students.
Ensures compliance with NCAA, NWC, and university rules and regulations in all recruiting activities.
Provides video review, scouting, and evaluations to assist in the preparation of athletes for competitions

Performs other duties as assigned, which may include teaching physical education classes and/or supporting other administrative functions of the department.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and three years of related experience are required. Related education may substitute for up to two years of experience.
Demonstrated coaching ability; proficiency in the tactical and technical aspects of track & field.
Strong and effective verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent leadership, management, and problem solving abilities.
Demonstrated level of high ethical conduct.
Strong computer and video technology experience
Understanding of and adherence to institutional, conference, and NCAA rules and policies; and knowledge of and commitment to the role of intercollegiate athletics in an academically-oriented liberal arts institution.
Ability to respectfully work, communicate and provide leadership within a diverse campus community
Compensation and Benefits :
The anticipated range for this position is $45,000 - $47,000 Decisions about starting salaries are made based on the extent and relatedness of the candidate's education and experience and on internal equity and market considerations.
