Responsibilities:

Assist with mentoring student athletes to foster athletic, academic, emotional, and social growth; assist Head Coach in establishing and enforcing rules of conduct and team policies.

Assist the head coach in practice planning, skill development, game planning, opponent scouting, and individual player development.

Assist the head coach in all areas of recruitment and retention of prospective student athletes including prospect evaluation, prospect selection through a process that promotes diversity and inclusion, on and off campus visits, and contacts.

Utilize video editing systems for player and team development, and opponent preparation.

Assist with the development and implementation of campus and community outreach initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution of higher learning plus a minimum of one year of college coaching experience in women’s soccer and a proven track record of success in the sport; prior recruiting experience; familiarity with

NCAA

rules and, if not already

NCAA

certified, prepared to become certified; demonstrated knowledge of coaching techniques; excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to communicate effectively and develop positive relationships with people from different cultural backgrounds; ability to think critically and solve problems; good judgment and ability to handle confidential/sensitive information with discretion. Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and a driving record that is insurable by Colorado College’s motor vehicle insurance carrier.

College Coaching and recruiting experience; knowledge and experience with video and scouting software.
