Assistant Women’s Soccer Coach Job Opening

Brewton-Parker Christian University has an immediate opening for an Assistant Women’s Soccer Coach. This position will be responsible for assisting the Women’s Soccer Coach in all aspects of the women’s program, which includes: scheduling, recruiting, coaching games and practices, logistics of travel, compliance, and developing the entire student-athlete – spiritually, academically, and athletically.

The successful candidate will have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, be committed to Christian discipleship of their student-athletes, and will also sign a “Lifestyle Standard Agreement”. The program will be conducted in accordance with all Brewton-Parker Christian University, NAIA, and SSAC regulations and policies, and must promote the mission and vision of Brewton-Parker Christian University as well as the goals and objectives of the athletic department.

Qualifications

Qualified candidates must have at least a Bachelor’s degree and two years of coaching or playing experience. The successful candidate will have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and the ability to successfully disciple student athletes. The candidate should also possess strong organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks and work within a budget, excellent written and oral skills, knowledge of computer applications, fundraising, event planning, camps and financial management, the ability to work weekends, evenings, including travel, and can demonstrate commitment to or experience working with diverse populations. Candidates must be able to assist in recruiting mission appropriate student athletes at a high level within scholarship structure as determined by Vice-President of Enrollment Services and Athletics. Must be able to lift and move equipment, maintain a valid driver’s license, and transport the team as needed.
