Blackburn College, a unique four-year liberal arts college with a student-managed work program located in Carlinville, IL seeks internal applications for the position of Assistant Women’s Soccer Coach. This position is a part-time, 10-month, renewable position. The selected candidate will be responsible for assisting the Head Coach with all aspects of the Women’s Soccer program and other duties within the athletics department as assigned.

Position responsibilities include assisting with team development, training and instruction in practice and competition, building competitive programs, management of program budgets, driving the team van, and student recruitment. Additional administrative duties in the athletics department may be assigned. The selected candidates will have demonstrated skills and experience in coaching with a strong commitment to NCAA D-III philosophy, excellent communication skills (written and oral) and the ability to positively motivate student-athletes and prospective recruits. Candidates must have a valid driver’s license and maintain a driving record in compliance with Blackburn College policy.

The salary for this position will be $16,839.20 per year. The Assistant Coach will also receive a 30-block meal plan and $20 flex for use in campus dining during the school year.
