Job Summary

This position will be responsible for assisting the Head Coach in all aspects of coaching, recruiting, and administering within the volleyball program. Implementing coaching strategies and methods to help student-athletes’ growth in athletic, interpersonal, academic, and teamwork skills; analyzes performance of team and adjusts strategies as needed; plans and conducts practices and other activities in preparation for competition; and actively recruits competitive and qualified individuals.

Key Outcomes

90% of Time:  Assist in the organization and supervision of practices and games.

● Organize, design, and write practice plans

● Properly set-up and lead practices

● Organize, design, and write practice plans

● Properly set-up and lead practices

● Organize team scouts to support team preparation for games

10% of Time:  Assist with team building, leadership and life skills training and communication with student/athletes as needed.

● Be available for calls or texts if needed..

● Attend team meetings on these topics and provide insight and support.
