Assistant Women's Wrestling Coach

Position Description

Brewton-Parker Christian University has an immediate opening for an Assistant Women’s Wrestling Coach. The assistant coach will be responsible for assisting the Women’s Head Coach in all aspects of the women’s wrestling program, which includes: scheduling, recruiting, coaching games and practices, logistics of travel, compliance, and developing the entire student-athlete – spiritually, academically, and athletically.

Applicants must first and foremost be committed to the discipleship of their student-athletes. The successful applicant will also sign a “Lifestyle Standard Agreement.” The program will be conducted in accordance with all Brewton-Parker Christian University, Mid-South Conference, Appalachian Athletic Conference, and NAIA regulations and policies, and must promote the mission and vision of Brewton-Parker Christian University as well as the goals and objectives of the athletic department.

Required Qualifications
  • At least a Bachelor’s degree.
  • Two years of experience in coaching or a related field.
  • A personal relationship with Jesus Christ and the ability to successfully disciple student-athletes.
  • Strong organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks, and work within a budget.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Knowledge of computer applications, fundraising, event planning, camps, and financial management.
  • Ability to work weekends, evenings, including travel.
