Job Skills / Requirements

The Associate AD for Facilities and Operations serves as a member of the Athletics Administration and a member of the senior leadership team. This position reports to the Deputy AD / Chief of Staff. This position is responsible for the oversight and execution of the department’s efforts in facilities management, event management, and operations.

The Associate AD for Facilities and Operations oversees all facets of the entire athletics facilities portfolio, which includes the newly constructed $65 million project under the Initiative for Wellness and Athletics Excellence (IWAE). This includes scheduling, hosting of events, maintenance, marketing, strategic planning, compliance in areas of insurance and liability, and other related matters.

The Associate AD for Facilities and Operations has direct oversight of a full-time staff of three, plus numerous student workers.

The Associate AD for Facilities and Operations is a highly visible position that carries significant influence, and thus requires strong character and work ethic.
