 Job Summary:

The Associate Athletic Trainer is responsible for assisting the Head Athletic Trainer in the education, prevention, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation of athletic injuries incurred by Mercy University intercollegiate athletes.

  • Supervise/Provide coverage and care of teams for practices and games (will involve some travel and work on weekends)
  • Work with the Team Physician for the Health Care of the Student Athletes
  • Create and maintain accurate records of athletic injuries and rehabilitation
  • Assist with administrative tasks required for athletic injury insurance claims
  • Assist in maintaining a safe and clean Athletic Training Room
  • Mentor interns from Mercy University’s Exercise Science Program 
  • Perform other duties as assigned
