Duties/Expectations :  

• Assist the director in managing the day-to-day operations of the training room.
• Foster collaboration with other members of the interdisciplinary health and performance team.
• Evaluate injuries/illnesses for football athletes. 
• Provide safe and effective treatments for injuries and illnesses within the certified athletic trainer's scope of practice and within the guidelines of sound medical practice.  
• Make referrals for athletes to other health care professionals as needed.  
• Communicate with coaches regarding the health status and limitations of athletes.  
• Supervise and educate other athletic trainers and student athletic trainers as assigned. 
• Counsel with athletes and parents regarding their health status and options available for treatment.  
• Maintain accurate records of injuries, illnesses, treatments, and referrals.  

What Qualifies You to Apply?

Required :

• Master's Degree (must have required degree by start date)
• 3 years of NATA certification through the BOC
• Knowledgeable in evaluation and care of concussions and a wide array of musculoskeletal injuries

Preferred : 

• Clinical experience with Division I football athletics
