Associate Head Coach for Men's Tennis and Assistant Director of the Clark Racquet Center
Coe College seeks qualified candidates for the position of Associate Head Coach for Men's Tennis and Assistant Director of the Clark Racquet Center. This position is responsible for assisting in the planning, organizing and supervising of a strong and competitive Men’s Tennis program within the spirit, policies, and rules of Coe College, the American Rivers Conference, and the NCAA Division III. Compliance and budgetary oversight provided by the Athletic Director.
Additionally, as Assistant Director of the Clark Racquet Center, this position will assist and support the Director in the supervision and coordination of activities and events that occur within the CRC, including design and supervision of club programming, event management, tournaments, camps, facility maintenance and lesson instruction.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
Assist the head coach in planning and supervising practices and matches
Vigorously recruit students
Promote the sport, athletics department, and Coe College
Assist the Director of the CRC with supervision, scheduling, coordination, programming and communications with other persons in the department, on campus, and outside of campus with items related to the CRC
Additional Responsibilities assigned by the Director of Clark Racquet Center
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree is required.
1-3 years of previous coaching experience and/or administrative duties is preferred.
Fundraising experience considered.
Racquet Sports programming and Club Management considered.
Social Media and marketing experience considered.
Must be currently authorized to work in the United States as visa sponsorship is not available for this position. Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the United States as we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.
Successful completion of background and driving record checks in accordance with Coe College policy.
