Towson University is seeking an Associate Women’s Volleyball Coach/Recruiting Coordinator. This position will assist the Head Volleyball Coach in the coaching and day-to-day operations of a Division I intercollegiate women's volleyball program. Additional responsibilities include complying with video/CAA exchange policies; assisting with camps/clinics, practice, and match preparation; helping with player development; monitoring social media; recruiting as permitted by NCAA rules and regulations; and attending community service events to support the program.

Responsibilities and Duties

The Associate Women’s Volleyball Coach/Recruiting Coordinator will be responsible for the following:

• Assisting with on-court coaching and video analysis
• Utilizing DataVolley and Volleymetrics
• Assisting in the preparation of scouting reports, statistical breakdowns, and opponent video breakdown
• Assuming all duties in the absence of the Head Coach
• Performing other duties as assigned

The work hours for this position include weekend, evening, and early morning hours. Travel is required.

Qualifications and Skills

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree
• Five years of volleyball recruiting and coaching experience

Preferred Qualification:

• Three years of volleyball recruiting and coaching experience at the Division 1 level

Salary and Benefits

Starting salary is $68,000. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience. This position also includes up to 15 holidays and sick days; excellent health, life, and retirement plans; and tuition remission. TU also offers a variety of great perks and discounts, which can be found here.
