Description :

Assist head coach in developing a highly competitive NAIA soccer team. Assist with recruiting, scheduling competitions, game management, team travel plans, practice organization, winter and summer camps and other duties as assigned. Previous playing and/or coaching experience on the collegiate level preferred. NAIA experience preferred. Specific experience in goalkeeper training preferred.

Must have administrative ability to help manage the day-to-day operations of soccer program. Excellent organizational, customer service, and communications skills required. Must be able to work with minimal supervision.

The candidate must display the highest of ethical standards and commitment to the overall success of UHV Athletics program. The candidate is expected to act within the parameters of institutional control and is responsible for conducting all activities in compliance with NAIA, Red River Athletic Conference and University of Houston-Victoria rules and regulations. Candidates must have outstanding leadership and interpersonal skills to relate to a wide diversity of faculty, staff, students and community members.

The school is a member of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics and competes as members of the Red River Athletic Conference. 

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree, previous college playing experience.
Preferred Qualifications: collegiate coaching experience.
