Examples of Duties

Oversee in-studio and on-site cinematography.

Lead the production management, including developing key message points and storyboarding, script development.

Produce and direct videography and photography for team media days, including equipment, lighting, sound and staging.

Perform post-production activities such as editing, mastering and publication to desired media.

Work in a creative and collaborative environment with the sports information and marketing team to guide the creative content development for all athletics digital assets.

Assist in teaching and supervising student workers in all aspects of cinematography.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in journalism, sports communications, sports marketing, sports management, public relations, communications, English, or a related field.

1. Bachelor’s degree in journalism, sports communications, sports marketing, sports management, public relations, communications, English, or a related field.
   
2. One (1) year (12 months) of professional experience working in a video services related field.*
   Based on position requirements, additional education, training, and/or work experience in the area of specialization inherent to the position, may be required.
   

Note: Master’s Degree in an area consistent with the duties of the position may be substituted for one (1) year (12 months) of work experience.

Preferred: Work experience in the production and direction of live events and demonstrated ability to use professional video production software.
