Assist with providing medical care and comprehensive athletic training services for 20 intercollegiate sports. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Specific sport coverage based on the needs of the athletic department, including practices/games and travel; Responsible for the prevention and treatment of athletic injuries, including rehabilitation; communicate with coaching staff and parents of student athletes; medical documentation of all evaluations, treatments, rehabilitation, and referrals; manage physician clinics; direct supervision of athletic training students as a clinical preceptor of athletic training students from CAATE accredited curriculum's; Competency in computer skills i.e. SportsWare Injury Tracking System, along with other duties as assigned by the Director of Sports Medicine.

Administer selected portions of the Athletic Training program.
Apply therapeutic techniques, modalities, and exercises in the rehabilitation of athletic injuries.
Apply strapping, bandaging, bracing, and other methods in the prevention of athletic injuries.
Injury evaluation and injury management including referral. Work with MD's and others to determine the extent of injury and return to play.
Administer first aid, and emergency treatment.
Supervise and advise student athletic trainers in curriculum.
Supervise practice and games for UNH varsity athletic teams as assigned.
Travel with assigned UNH varsity athletic teams.
Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in athletic training or related field and 1-3 years of experience as an athletic trainer or a Master's degree in athletic training or related field and one year of experience as an athletic trainer.
Certification by the Board of Certification Inc. as an Athletic Trainer Licensed, or eligible for licensure by the New Hampshire Board of Athletic Training
Current certifications American Red Cross CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer.
Highly motivated individuals that posses strong communication and organizational skills.

Compensation Pay Range:
$40,020.00 - $71,130.00
