Job Description

The Athletic Administrative & Ticketing Coordinator position is responsible for supporting the daily operations of the Alaska Nanooks Athletics department by managing administrative tasks, coordinating event logistics, and overseeing ticket sales and customer service for athletic events. The role typically includes handling scheduling, maintaining records, assisting with communications, supervising ticketing with the AAD-Ticketing, and ensuring a positive experience for all.

The Athletic Administrative & Ticketing Coordinator will thrive by staying highly organized, delivering excellent customer service, managing fast-paced event operations efficiently, and supporting student-athletes, staff, and fans with professionalism and attention to detail. Additionally, supporting smooth game-day experiences while balancing administrative responsibilities, communication, and problem-solving in a team-oriented environment will be key.

Minimum Qualifications:

Three years college coursework and three years progressively responsible experience related to
the program specialty, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
Demonstrated experience in administrative support, preferably within a university or athletics setting.
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Banner Finance, and other university systems preferred.
Familiarity with ticketing systems and event coordination is a plus.

This is a full-time, 10-month, term-funded, exempt staff position complete with both a competitive salary and full employee benefits package. New hires will be placed on the UA Staff Salary Schedule, Grade 79, based on education and experience.
